I believe that where you call home influences how your days unfold and the energy you bring into the world. My goal is to help others find a space that supports who they are today and who they are striving to become.
For more than 20 years, I built a career as a researcher. As a child, I dreamed of studying communication in non-human great apes, and I was fortunate enough to live that dream. My work took me from studying chimpanzees in the United States to living in Central Africa studying free-living gorillas. That experience taught me not only how gratifying it is to reach your goals, but how the right setting can support clarity and balance.
After my time abroad, I returned to Blacksburg, a place I first came to in 1998 as a Virginia Tech student. The mountains, slower pace, and genuine sense of community made it the right place for me to rest, rebuild, and grow. I continued my career research with Virginia Tech, managing projects, meeting deadlines, and most importantly working with people. My husband and I are now raising our son and daughter here and you may just catch us biking around town on a cool cargo bike or supporting our children’s dancing and other sports in the community.
Life brings change, and finding the right home, or knowing when it’s time to move on, can make all the difference. As a homeowner and investor myself, I understand both the emotional and financial sides of the process and aim to guide clients with transparency and care.
My vision is simple: I want to help build a community of people who wake up ready to rise to what moves them. I believe being in the right home supports that energy. For me, real estate isn’t just about transactions, it’s about the possibility, growth, and creation of space for the next season of life.
